Automatically triggering the creation of entries

I’ve created a site containing company strategy content where each entry in a weblog contains custom fields describing objectives. I’m implementing a weblog containing actions that are related to the objectives. I need to trigger the creation of new action entries when specific new objectives are created. Is there any way to do this using any add ons?
