Error Cannot save template to text file on server

I’ve been encountering this problem for a while and i cant figure this out I’m really having some problems writing to my server since I moved hosts and i cant even save my templates to text nore can ee upload images (my desktop software cant either) does someone know where the problem lies

I’d start by checking all the permissions (if you haven’t already)

Yes, most likely permissions are at the center of this issue. Check them, also all parent directories etc.

that was the first thing i checked and rechecked im tempted to chmod777 the whole thing its driving me insane
