Hi

We are just finishing off our first site in EE (we have 2 more to go). We have been moving flat sites to EE to give a nice CMS back to the sales and product teams. This first one is for teachers of English as a second language. It is a supporting site to www.cactustefl.com which is not in EE.

www.cactusteachers.com

We have not even really touched what we could do in EE but even so it is so smooth and simple. removing the index.php is a bit of a hassle though. And Mr Boyink’s book has helped work through the project with the rest of the team.

Great layout & design, the abstract paint to real-life photo’s on the right sidebar, are a nice touch, I wasn’t expecting that, cool… It adds to a theme of focus and vision, it does.

Thanks Michael, the book was a nice read. I had been following it online but it was easier to share as the book. Mine was printed in Barcelona and took a couple of weeks (that was the only bad side of service it was not clear how long it would take. They said upto 6 weeks, even though they have printers in the UK).

This was our first try with EE and learnt a few simple things. One more site which is also lead generating in 2 localisations US and UK/world and then we work on the biggy which will start in 2 localisations and about 6 main languages and 20 other languages moving to being written into 6 localisations (that means languages its written in and the country focus.). It will be a social content site on learning languages.

Nice looking site.
I like the hover state on the phone number.

It works great design wise and it looks very organized. I love the color-scheme and how you have divided the top navigation into two separate bars - right below one-another. Great Work!
