I’d been looking at a lot of SaaS-related software/services lately (e.g. Salesforce), and I immediately thought of EE. I didn’t realize it before, but all the EE hosting solutions (EngineHosting), are really just SaaS solutions with some slightly different features/functionality/pricing. I guess this has a lot to do with the semantics of ‘saas’ vs. ‘hosted’.

At least, that’s my initial take.

Made me curious if EE had talked about going this route - especially as it seems like everyone else is (if only in addition to their shippable products). I didn’t see any comments about this on the forums.

I’d also be curious how this might relate to MSM.
