Actually one developer delete the EE from the apache root directory.Now we copied the folder after extracting and paste there.But it is not installing.How to do the installation.Please reply soon.I searched through the net but did not get soln.

Sorry, I am really having a hard time figuring out what your problem is. Do you have a link to the site in question?

We have EE 1.6 .We installed successfully.Then sometime after Apache was not working.So We have to delete the folder from the server.After that we did not able to install it again.Now we have to install it immediately.Please tell how to install again.Thanks in advance.

You’re going to need to rebuild your config.php file and path.php file.

config.php --> http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Config.php_for_v1.6.0/

path.php --> http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Path/

You’re going to have to rebuild those files from those wiki entries, and hopefully all will be well then.

Lesson to be learned.  Never erase files from your server without backing up first.  (I have learned the hard way too)
