We have a commercial license which was purchased in 2005.

We stopped using the expression engine due to the company changing developer to one that used ColdFusion who preferred another solution. He has now parted from the company and we are looking to come back to expression engine since we know it worked

Questions:

1 - Our download page shows no download available for the version we purchased.

2 - How much would be an upgrade from a version bought in 2005?

3 - We are now hosted on a new server does that mean we will have a problem with the old licence?

1) That is correct. Only the latest version of EE is provided for download. You may re-download the (then) current version of EE as often as you like while your downloading privileges last, but it would be your responsibility to keep a copy of the code after your access expires. The initial sale includes a one year subscription to the download area, so that would have expired sometime in 2006.

2) You’d simply have to renew your downloading privileges. For a commercial license the renewal fee for a one-year subscription is $39.95. Your licence as such, of course, remains valid indefinitely.

3) That is not an issue at all. As long as you only use one publicly accessible installation per licence at any one time, that is fine. It is not tied to a particular domain.
