Any news?

It’s been a while, sorry for that. I’ve deleted al plugins and extensions. The emoticons are show again. I’m debugging now to see whar fails it. The problem of the blank page is still existing however: I always get a white page after submitting a comment. Preview works fine…. (in IE 7.0 it gives an error: internal 500 server error.)

I’ve uploaded everything again, but no changes.  I use the same webserver for another ee-website: no problems. It’s so strange…. The smiley-thing was not a big problem for my client (and now it works). But not being able to submit comments is.

If someone has a solution…. applause is for you. I keep you posted about the debugging.

Oke, I found the emoticon-problem… it’s the videoplug-extension of Lars Kirchhoff (see http://expressionengine.com/wiki/videoplug/) I’ll inform him about the bug….

And now searching for a solution for the blank page. I know this problem is named more times on the forum. I’ve tried all the given solutions, but without any result, yet…

So that was the emoticons. Glad we solved that, it sure was a weird one. As to the other problem, could you start a new thread with more information? Better to keep issues separate.
