I am unable to query the sql database either from within the Utilities or from a template.

Under Utilities > Manage Database Tables the tables show as having entries but clicking one resutls in “The query you submitted did not produce any results”.

If using {exp:query} I get table does not exist.

Extremely confused.

Phil, what exactly are you trying to query for?

Member data in particular.

But when in Utilities > Manage Database Tables none of them return anything.

The site however is humming right along and working fine.

I also noticed that when using {exp:query} EE will change exp_ua_members to exp_ua_ua_members. EE tosses in an extra _ua to the table name.

Same query works fine on another site so I know it isn’t the query. Something to do with EE not knowing that the tables are there, even though it seems to know that everywhere else.

If that stream of babble makes sense…

Ah ha! This may have to do with the way you are naming your tables. There was a bug posted just a bit ago by Ingmar that sound very similar.

Phil, I believe you, too, might be affected by this bug.

Well, I am afraid there is no fix yet, short of renaming your db tables…
