I, m not able to find anything on how the members login will work on a weblog

I am new to EE and trying to build a password protected website using EE. I have two questions.
1. How can I force the members to logon to my weblog.
2. How the login process will work? Do I need to create a template for that and how the member�s authentication will work?

You can only allow members to view your individual templates through the template options in the cp. To create a member login spot you just add this code:

{if logged_in} <a href="{path=member/profile}">Your Account</a>

&bull; <a href="{path=LOGOUT}">Logout</a> {/if} {if logged_out}

<a href="{path=member/login}">Login</a> &bull;

<a href="{path=member/register}">Register</a> {/if}

You don’t need a template for the login form the script handles that on its own.
