Great product EE! And many thanks to the incredibly helpful tech support, forum postings, suggestions, and add-ons from the community.

I’d been reviewing/considering jumping to EE for months. And then, all of a sudden, we had what we thought was the perfect project for it.

After playing with the core version for a week or so in our dev. environment, we began development of this new site for the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority. Development using EE was completed in approx. 4 weeks.

We’re pleased with the functionality - integrated bulletin and route databases, news, jobs, and procurement databases. RSS feeds are coming soon.

We’d love feedback and suggestions from the EE community. How’d we do?

Thanks,

David

The google maps graphic is blown out here, it looks kinda bad.
It’s created in like maybe 8 colors and lost all it’s depth, and needs some attention.
It looks like the image got saved as a web safe gif at somepoint maybe, that shouldn’t be necessary. Google is picky about treatment of their logo, I would think.

Looks like a great functional site, otherwise, way to go.

Great looking site, I am new to EE too so I REALLY like this discussion. One comment—it isn’t blazingly clear to me that this site is for Kansas City. There are “Metros” in so many cities, can your header perhaps incorporate a more specific mention of what community this metro line is for? Just a thought…
