Let’s say I have a total of 10 entries. I forgot to assign a category to 7 of those.  Should I be able to go into the edit screen, select the blog in question and use “none” for the category and be returned with a list of 7 entries that are not assigned to a particular category?

I’m pretty sure I used to be able to do this in a previous build.  Maybe I’m just crazy!

For an easy fix, I’ve created an “unfiled” category,  in the weblog management I set the unfiled category as default, that way if I forget to set the category, it doesn’t get lost in limbo for my category archive pages (the only kind I use in a few blogs)

Can someone please confirm if I was dreaming when I used the feature discussed above.  Thanks!

This *definitely* used to work as I used it to recategorize a bunch of entries.. it doesn’t work now though. =/

*whew* because I was worried. The “unfiled” works well too - if only 0 entry categories could be hidden wink

Since I imported from MT I have to go through 500some postings and recategorize everything.  When I click on the category drop down button in the edit screen I have the option of “all” or “none.”

I’d like to be able to see all postings in any one category, is there something wrong in my setup or what’s the purpose of the “all” or “none” options?

I figured out that since I had added a second blog, I need to select the blog and then the categories show up.
