hi,

i transferred my ee-installation to another server using the instructions from http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Moving_Servers/

but after that, when i tried to log into the cp, i noticed, that there is no css aplied to the pages at all! the html source-code only displays an empty css-container?!?

does anybody know what to do? or did i something significantly wrong while transferring to antoher server?

You can navigate the backend without CSS style information. Go to the admin section and set the new path info in the general site preferences. After onfirming the change, that should do the trick. Be aware that you’ll have to change pathes on some other places as well.

i changed all pathes, but 2 pathes seemed to be wrong…
so, it all works now!

Cool, glad it worked out for you. Doing something new like that, it’s always easy to think it’s a bigger problem, and it could just be a path issue, or even a missing slash or ; someplace.
Did you have to make many changes in your actual templates, or did changing CP variables get things going?
Depends how you have the paths coded I suppose.
