Hello,

I created a new blog and a new custom field group associated with it.

One of these fields is a date field.

When I go to the publish section and try to add a new record I have a problem.

I use the ‘date picker’ to select a date.

But then, when I try to save the entry I get an error that “The date you submitted was not formatted correctly”

Also the date picker defaults to 1969 which is not very helpful. Is there a way to prepopulate it with the current date or at least something more recent?

Bob, are you on the most recent build/version of EE?

Let’s get you updated if your aren’t. 1.6.3 came out on the 19th. This way we’re both on the same build.
