Hi there.

Super small request, just ran into it today.  The weblog:entries tag, the orderby parameter doesn’t recognize “entry_id” as a valid choice.  I’d really like to be able to order my entries by entry_id.

Short term, by the way, does anyone have a workaround they can share?

Thanks for reminding me, I ran into that issue myself some time ago. I was actually surprised that it didn’t work, so I definitely support that request.

My solution was working with edit_date, since the entries were still created in the correct order, although their “entry dates” varied wildly.

Isn’t “Edit_date” the date the entry was last edited? SO it can change?

Yes. But that works for me, because the entries I have, don’t. Still, I strongly support the ability to sort by entry_id. If there is no other solution, you can always run a simply SQL query, of course.
