Hi,

I am trying to install ExpressionEngine (which I purchased last week) on a Windows Vista machine running IIS with PHP installed in ISAPI mode. When I attempt to run the installation scripts, it gets to screen 4. When I fill in the info and submit the page, it then goes to page 5 and shows a the ExpressionEngine logo but the rest of the page is blank. In the browser status bar it says “done” and there are no errors. I assume that since no confirmation message was given, the installastion was not complete. I checked this by trying to access the index.php page in the system directory and I get the message “The system does not appear to be installed.” I have tried installing many times with the same problem. Here are some things I have already checked:
-II_IUSER has full access to the web root dir
-The mysql passwords are correct and MySql is running correctly
-IIS is running correctly.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ryan

FTP to /system/utilities/dbtest.php and fill it out, upload it, then visit it in your server - are you making a database connection?
