Anyone else done the upgrade yet?

I showed no upgrade link after install, but the version # is correct. My old tags show fine, and tagging by custom field still works. I am still (after viewing the docs) unsure how to change my templates to get the tags made from the new tab to show up… if i remove the old custom field do those tags stop displaying?

also, the Tag tab does not co-exist with my Vox Cross poster module tab..

But I got it installed and working the old ‘custom field’ way.

I went through the exercise very recently and Mitchell walked me through it.

By design, there’s no upgrade link in the CP. I would have preferred the old way, but that’s just me.

You should see a Tags tab on the Publish page and it should be populated with the tags from the custom field. The only problem I experienced so far was that transplanting tags to MSM add-on sites wasn’t as smooth as I’d liked—you have to delete the tag pref from the primary site, add it back to the add-on site, and harvest. The harvesting didn’t fully work, I had to manually save each and every entry despite the new tags being there. It wasn’t a big deal, because I only had a couple of dozen entries to deal with.
