I’m happy to announce the launching of the Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center site which was launched a little over a month ago. Some of the content is still coming in but we’re launched for the most part.

Designed and Developed by Unwound Design.

Cool...Always nice to see EE being used for sites in my vicinity :-)

One thing you might want to check is the content is flowing outside it designated area (see attached screen-grab). I have one of those high-def MacBook-Pros and find I need to increase the font sizes and that’s when it happens. This may or may not be a problem for most, don’t know but it may be good to contain it.

Very nice looking.

My only $0.02 is that, being in MI I wondered if this was somewhere around Detroit MI - and it took awhile to find the answer to that.  It made me wonder if you might get some search engine traffic for keywords with Detroit in them from people looking for similar places here in MI.  Maybe just adding the city and state to the footer might help mitigate some user confusion.

wait wait.... there are 3 EE fanatics from MI?  I’m from East Lansing.  ..And here I was thinking there were no jobs in Michigan.

Nice site too!  Lots of information to manage.  And thanks for making the address an actual link.  That sorta thing drives me crazy…

The first thing I clicked was the mushroom/waterslide/swimming pool thumbnail on the homepage, it isn’t linked to anything.
Thought I would let you know.

More padding-left in the main content area to set the text apart more from the left sidebar would polish the design a tad IMO.
There’s only about 10-pixels of whitespace now, that’s a little cramped 16-50px would be better.
50 pixels aligns the text with the edge of the color logo up top.

Be careful, the layout is so tight, adding the padding-left using FF to edit the Css was breaking the layout.

The linked images are working for me...odd.

I added a little more space for the content to breathe, thanks for the suggestion.
