Could we please get get the defaults for trackbacks and the auto-insertion of trackback code turned off by default when creating a new weblog?

It’s a little thing I know...and I know I can dupe another weblog’s prefences, but I can never remember what else I’ve done with the configuration of those other weblogs so always end up just working from scratch each time.

Boyink, it’s not a full workaround, but I manually change the default value for those fields inside of the tables themselves.

It does work.

I’ll second that request. It’s tiresome to have to switch so many options off every time you create a new weblog. Surely the ideal is that only the most essential options should be on by default?
