It depends- I think the easiest way would be to simply remove the links from the forum templates- assuming you still want the functionality to work. You can determine on a per member group level whether groups show in the list and whether groups have access to the profile information. But if you simply want to remove the link, I’d likely edit the template to remove the link. If folks knew the url, they could still access the pages, though. Depending on how much you need nothing to show, you could also edit it so nothing displays, even with the correct url.
