I have shut off trackbacks in prefs, and uninstalled the module, yet on the CP “recent comments and trackbacks” I keep having them show up. I don’t have the tag in my templates (as far as I know), so not sure how these are being left. Really don’t think it’s benefitting the Spammers, but still having to clear out a few thousand of these out of the DB every few days.

I am running Core 1.5.2. I am not having this issue in my personal license site.

1. How do I stop them. Commenting isn’t active, neither should comments.
2. Less important, how are they doing this?

More of an annoyance than anything else.
