I suffered this with the 10.4.10 update installed (it had worked perfectly up until that point). I’ve just upgraded my work machine to 10.4.11 and magically the Temporary Items directory has appeared again…... YMMV.
You can check where Transmit is downloading the files to by Option clicking on the Textmate icon in the window bar of an edited file.
maadmac I’m not sure if you are planning on developing the EE mode for Coda further - but one thing that I find I really miss is the ability to use the comment shortcut apple + /
When the syntax is set to EE the comment shortcut doesn’t work, so if you have a to-do list on what you are planning on fixing/changing I’d love to see this fixed up.
Apart from tat (or and maybe defaulting the colours to a regular PHP scheme) that would be great.
Just chasing up this old thread. Madmac did you ever look at developing this bundle any further?
I’m still switching between Textmate and Coda - mainly because the EE bundle on Textmate is so much better than with coda.
I really missing not being able to do apple + / for a quick comment of the code.
The colours are pretty painful in the EE mode (I know they can be manually changed but it would be nice if we could just use the PHP colours).
Autocompletion?
Those are great suggestions, thanks. I have been planning to refine Chris’s terrific work but the project was sidetracked for the short term while I completed some other projects. I’ll let you know when I have an update…
On a little sidenote: earlier sm9 asked about being able to get tabs to work in the textfields, there’s a nice little extension for Firefox called Tabinta that allows you to do just that: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3955 . Thanks to Mike for the tip.
