I’d like my home page to have just the titles and short summaries of longer articles which would be posted in full on separate pages. Under each would be a link saying something like “Read the full story here”. Is this built-in or do I have to code something? I could not see anything in the control panel or user guide reference on this other the pageination which I did not fully understand (yet). Any existing references or ‘how to’ examples would be most appreciated.

In your publish page, there are several fields for text:  “summary” “body” and “extended text.”  Just add the beginning of an article in the body and the rest in the extended text field, then add a link to the extended text as described in the Knowledge Blog.
