The title pretty much says it all.  I’ve got a client that uses polls in the forum to conduct member surveys, and it’s important that the client doesn’t personally vote and affect the numbers.  How can they view the results without voting?

Best case would be for either the mod or certain member groups to be able to see results without voting…

Any way to do this?

Well, they can see the results if they are not logged in, this becomes a problem if the forum isn’t visible to non-logged in members though :D.

You could have a look at my forumpoll plugin, which can be used to submit votes to polls and also show results.  You can get that to show just results and no form, with conditionals, iirc. Downside to this is that it will need to go onto a regular template outside of the forum.

If they create the poll, and are moderators and can edit posts, when you edit a post with a poll, the edit poll option will show you the current tally as well.  Not super slick, but available.
