I am sure this is somewhere in the forums but I am tired of racking my brain to figure this out. I would like to be able to have a list of the last 5 categories or so that were updated in a single weblog. Kind of like the “Most Recent Posts” . Any suggestions ?

This is a tricky one that I don’t think is possible using standard tags outside of perhaps a really complicated exp:query tag. The problem is due to the data you’d need being spread over several different tables and the current weblog:entries and weblog:category tags not having what we’d need to pull it off.

I’ll take a closer look at it when I get a little more time, but the most likely way this would have to be done is via a plugin of some sort. Perhaps you might want to put a request for one in the plugin area and see if anyone can help you out.
