Can there be an option added to ignore image tags? If I have an image as the first thing in my article, but still want to pull out a certain number of characters starting _after_ the image, no joy.

I’d like to second this request.

Since the Devot:ee site is linking here for the EE 2.0 version of this plugin, it should be noted that the only place I could find the EE 2.0 version was on this page:

Hopefully this will save someone else the 20 min it took me to find it

Wow - wish I had seen this before I spent 20 minutes looking for the 2.0 version - But I’m glad I found it now cause I’d still be looking.  Thank-you!

There´s a link on that page this is true, but click on http://expressionengine.com/images/public_beta/add-ons/add-ons_EE20pb.zip
and it will give you a 404
