the new design is incredible. looking forward to seeing new default themes to choose from - especially for the control panel and forum too - in upcoming versions. btw, what’s next? 1.6 or 2.0?
Next up is 1.6. As usual, no ETA though.

I’m sure you guys EllisLab have a strong sense of pride due to the new name and beautiful websites but I must say that carries over to your users as well. Thanks you very much! I’m still in awe of what you guys have accomplished.

Great stylish website, great product. The website finally matches the product, I’d say.
Makes you happy to be an EE user.

Come to think of it: wouldn’t it be nice to know who did the design? Even the wiki looks great now…

Wow… thank you for all the kind words and compliments!
The design was done by Jesse at 31Three . Don’t go hiring him, though! We’re not done with him!

I’m dying to know what fonts Jesse used, especially for the headings on the main page, and the word “forum” at the top of this page. Anybody?

Wow… thanks for the super kind words guys! This was a super fun project to work on, and we’ll probably be adding a few more fine touches in the coming weeks. Check for an article on digital-web.com a little after sxsw where I explain the design process of the home page (including font choices AWShuttleworth
Thanks everyone!

Holy Cr@p!
This is the prettiest forum I’ve ever seen!
Very nice site and forum redesign. I’m almost forgetting what the old one looked like.
One possible change? The nav fonts on top are very small and rather dark to read on a small 12” laptop screen like I’m using now.
Great job!
