Yes, I’m curious about the secret/new stuff too. I just received two blank emails (from Derek, they said), so I assume the glitches are being worked out. But when I looked at the raw copy, it said they were generated by EE 1.6. That makes sense after reading Rick’s blog entry. Multiple sites/forums with one install. Nice.

It’s really great to see a small company start out with a good product and a vision, improve that product constantly, then grow and succeed with hard work, sweat, and late nights. I can imagine how gratifying that is for the folks at the new EllisLab.

Next weeek is spring break at the college, and I’d planned to start on a new personal project. This just makes me all the more anxious to get on it.

All of this looks fantastic. I’m curious...now that the pMahine purple is gone (at least over at pmach...er, EllisLab (and cool logo by the way)), is it gone in the default installs of the latest builds? I was going to spend some time this month ‘branding’ the CP - because I’m expecting to need a LOT of diffrent Control Panels this year.

April 1 ‘07 is the 1-year anniverary of Masuga Design and I can tell you year two has a lot of EE in it wink

Awesome work, everyone! This is very exciting.

Jesse did a beautiful job on your new look. What a great upgrade! I think the new name is good, too, to help cover the many products I’m sure you’ll be developing in the future smile

Amazing! Way to completely reinvent your brand & online presence, pull it off nigh on perfectly AND meet deadline! I thought things had been a little toooo quiet wink

And my goodness doesn’t just everything Jesse touches turn to gold? Jesse your arms must be getting tired of all that bar raising by now, surely… lol :D

Fantastic stuff guys!

Fantastic redesign! Well done Jesse!

The rebranding makes total sense - and perfectly executed too.

I’m looking forward to these changes filtering through to the Control Panel.

Congratulations to everyone at EllisLab.

Oh! Here are the forums! Shouldn’t there be a redirect directly here or something? I visit sites by URL, rarely by internal navigation. http://pmachine.com/forums doesn’t work anymore.

Love the new looks to all the sites involved in the update. Bravo Jesse and all involved!

Maybe the EllisLab Advsiory Board will Advsi you to spell-chek! Other than that, it’s all lovely!

Ch’check… check…
Stopped by to congratulate on the site launch.
Where does a core user go to figure out what plugin’s and add’on’s are freebies?
Was the actual EE app actually upgraded with the new site launch as well?

What a beautiful new site.  I wish I were even close to as tallented visually as Jesse.

One thing bugs me a bit though.  Actually it bugs me a lot.  smile

The nice tabs at the top of the site appear and dissapear as I browse throught the site.  I realize they get replaced by the breadcrumbs but main navigation that changes drastically or dissapears all together is just confusing.  And I know I found myself lost a couple of times before realizing that I could get back to something by using the bread crumbs.  That confusion is really uncessary.

And wow I need to get Kurt to quit giving me new clients so I can post a bit more often.  I’m about to get bumped off the front page of the member list.  smile

Jamie, that actually culminated from wanting to provide a ‘mini-support’ site.  The forums, KB, wiki, and Developer’s area all have the same theme.  Since the forums are the primary vehicle for support, we thought it fitting that the other support elements shared the same header, look, and feel.

Derek,

That makes sense.

I could have sworn it happened to me as I was browsing the plugins area as well as a few other spots in the main site.  But now that I go back there it isn’t happening anymore.  I’m probably just going crazy.  Haven’t slept much the last few days as I imagine you guys haven’t either.  smile
