This might be a simple (no pun intended…) question: Can I send an email notification on a purchase to more than one admin email address, separated by commas? I didn’t see that confirmed in the docs.

Also, the email I’m getting (using Apple Mail) looks like this in the From field:

Any way to alter that to something a little friendlier?

Right, this may be a feature request because I do not see a way to do that.  Maybe for now you could setup the admin email address as an IMAP account that multple people can access?

Interesting, I have not seen anyone complain about the email problem.  You are getting your admin address repeated?  What build are you running?

Hi John. I’m running this: ExpressionEngine 1.5.2, Build: 20070102. The admin address thing isn’t a deal breaker, but was jusyt wondering why it was repeated like that.

I was wondering about multiple admin addresses because I wanted myself in there for testing (or as a BCC address).

I would go ahead and update to the latest build and run the test again.  Then at least we know that you and I are looking at the same code when troubleshooting the problem.

Heh…too small an issue to update to latest build for. Site is supposed to launch today/tomorrow and having big enough problems in other areas!

Any resolution to this issue/need? I too would like to add another email. In fact, I’d prefer if the simple commerce module had an email field for which to send emails instead of using the admin email.

Hey jaw - this doesn’t appear to have changed since the original post. You’re welcome to add it as a feature request - I’m not sure if mdesign has or not. =)
