I could really use a Survey tool as well. I’ve looked at some of the third-party options out there but it would be great to have something baked right in with EE.

There is a module, and the code is functioning. However, the module was developed for a specific requirement and because of this little effort was put in to making it any where near as flexible as i’d like it to be for a release version.

Because of the effort required to build a powerful, yet simple to use, surveying system I’m waiting to rebuild/integrate it with the EE 2 environment now as I wouldn’t want it to become defunct overnight

I have toyed with the idea of building a survey module for EE for quite some time.

In all honestly its a pretty big job and with EE 2.0 around the corner not something most developers will commit to. I think you will find with EE 20 there will be quite a few survey type modules popping up if Ellislab doesn’t create their own.
