Markdown and Smarty Pants

I just did a fresh install of EE to debug some problems I’m having, and I’m no longer able to download Markdown and SmartyPants from docs.markhuot.com; I get file not found messages. Anyone have a copy of the most recent versions? PM’s plugin downloader only has 1.0 versions.

I think Mark wrote extensions for markdown and smarypants before he realised plugins already existed.  His markypants plugin uses these existing plugins so I guess he’s removed the extensions (but forgot to remove the links) as there’s no need for them.

Both plugins are still available on the pMachine site.  http://plugins.pmachine.com

The latest version of the Markdown plugin caused this extension to break.  You can download a new version at the top of this thread.

Any update on restoring auto-linking for URLs/emails intact while running MarkyPants?
