Hi.

First let me preface by saying I have been over the documentation a dozen times and I’ve searched and I still don’t see an answer so posting this is sort of my last hope.  This wiki stuff is not easy, despite what everyone is saying.

I have my wiki set up at:
http://webkittynwednesday.com/index.php/contented5/index/

It took me over 24 hours to get that much.

The page repeats.  It’s got the normal wiki stuff on top and what looks like code for the page on the bottom and it’s got me completely baffled.  I’m sure it’s something small that I’m overlooking but for the life of me I’ve been staring at it for 4 hours now and it escapes me.

Please, someone save my day here.

You’re obviously not using either of the included templates, so it’s hard to say for sure.  Feel free to upload your theme file here to the forums for us to take a look at.  However, if I had to guess, it looks like you’ve copied and pasted a large portion of your modified template file into itself, or possibly directly into the contended5/index template in your control panel?  There’s a lot of unparsed PHP from some syntax errors, but where they’re coming from would be better ascertained if you shared your template file.

Outside of making sure that you are using a working Wiki template file, also check that the only thing in your ExpressionEngine Template for your wiki, is the wiki tag:

Wow, that was one Hell of an experience but it’s working now and I’ve got categories and life is good.

Yes, I had copied the entire page from the template into the index rather than just the one line.

I thought I read the instructions initially but that got me.

Now I see how easy it really is.
