During a good portion of last week, the pMachine team was down in Bend, Oregon spending time with each other and various ExpressionEngine developers.  What had initially started out as a small get together with Mitchell from Solspace, with a primary focus on beer drinking, ended up being a full blown meet up with discussions, video, interviews, incredible eating (and drinking), and a seemingly endless amount of praise on both the developer and staff side.  By Friday, I think my mind had started shutting down from the stimulation overload from socializing and thinking for so long.

I enjoyed this tale of Burdickbaggins. Re meetups: Any EE developers planning to go to @media in London come June?

The symbiosis of talent, knowledge, humility, hard work, care for customers with no exclusions and at no cost makes Expression Engine something special. A few weeks back, I had to get further details on Rick’s Iptonation plugin and from you Paul concerning your latest Ajax script addition and got fast replies from both the CEO and the CTO. Amazing! The Global Microbrand spirit at the microbrain’s disposal!
I was just wondering if EE would integrate in the future a powerful form generator?

There are a few poll modules by third party developers (and I am sure there is a form generator of some sort out there that was privately developed), but we have not done any work on one ourselves.  One of those modules that would require us to think hard about what we wanted it to do and how to make it easy to use.

Looks promising Russlipton and could be useful for those who want to save time and escape unecessary coding.
Does the much expected E commerce module include some form construction or adaptation in order to introduce some flexibility or should it meet strict requirements?

I’m jealous.  smile Perhaps Kurt will let me tag along next time.

I’m looking forward to the Wiki module.  I think it could be used quite well as a simple intranet for small organizations like NetRaising works with.  That is if the Wiki is able to have its functionality/visibility limited based on Member Groups.  Wish I had a reason to ask you for a preview copy at the moment.

I’m not even going to mention the module I’m really looking forward to though.  smile
