In what is a fundamental shift in strategy, Rick has leaked about half of my workload out into the open in his most recent blog post.  The man took my thunder and I got nothing, people.  I be a thunder-less CTO in a sea of work.  Everything else I am keeping close lipped and tight mouthed about.  No more little sneaks into my secret work!  Back!  Back, I say!

continue…

You should steal Rick’s thunder by exposing a few of his secret projects. It’s only fair.

I’ll second that grin

Trouble is, I have a feeling Rick’s secret project is spilling the beans about Paul’s secret projects.

My secret is that I wrote one small new item for the forum module that took about an hour, and now I’m utterly perplexed at how it got to be 6 PM.  I have no idea where this day went.

> an EE Wiki module will be released later this month

A very interesting innovation.

But I don’t know how articles will be organized in this module: as an EE blog or a tree/multilevel website. I think a tree structure is better. But how to get it… With many levels of categories? I have no idea which way is better (if I understand the idea of the module correctly).

Well, looks like a perfect reason to pester Paul via email and tell him why you must have it now.

I wouldn’t pester anyone and I don’t need it now. but I’m very curious about how it will work and how easy/difficult it will be to integrate into my sites. Will it be like the photo module where you can have more than one or like the discussion forum with only one per installation?

Anyhow this for me is currently something I have a use for and am very keen on looking at.

Well, it was a bit tongue in cheeck, but he did welcome “email with a little blurb as to why. None of those simple one sentence emails either. This module is special and deserves to be wooed, so sharpen your finest quill and let the words flow.”

Seems your reasons are as valid as any.
