Code I just ran across in cp.publish.php file:
if ( $which == 'preview' && $_POST[ 'entry_id' ] == '' && strrev ( strtolower ( $_POST[ 'title' ] )) == 'noitisiuqni hsinaps eht stcepxe ydobon' )
I’m just say’n.

That is scary. Shouldn’t it be…?
if ( $which == 'preview' && $_POST[ 'entry_id' ] == '' && strrev ( strtolower ( $_POST[ 'title' ] )) == 'noitisiuqni hsinaps eht stcepxe eno on' )

Heh. I found this when looking for instances of strtolower, but forgot to mention it. Scary indeed.

Heh- yea, every now and then I find these little jewels. Perks me up every time. McGehee- take a closer look- particularly at:
== 'noitisiuqni hsinaps eht stcepxe eno on'
Nothing wrong with the code. The brain behind the code, I don’t know….
ETA- and McGehee once again proves to be both more clever and more grammatically correct than I. Me. Whatever.

LOL- my, you were feeling industrious that day! I’m going to poke around some more- perhaps the commerce module is hidden in some obscure lib file.

Actually, I tried some time ago, but I’m afraid nothing much out of the ordinary happened.

I still cant get that thing to work!
Except i tried to decode the message and it became crystal clear
> noitisiuqni hsinaps eht stcepxe ydobon
nobody excepts the spanish inquisition
>noitisiuqni hsinaps eht stcepxe eno on
on one excepts the spanish inquisition
written backward inspired by Lisa Simpson?

Yes it works. You draft an article with that title, preview it — and there you are. As for the source of this quote, well, that’s obvious .

If I had to bet, Paul was inspired by Monty Python rather than the Simpsons riff:
Chapman: *I* don’t know - Mr Wentworth just told me to come in here and say that there was trouble at the mill, that’s all - I didn’t expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition.
[The door flies open and Cardinal Ximinez of Spain [Palin] enters, flanked by two junior cardinals. Cardinal Biggles [Jones] has goggles pushed over his forehead. Cardinal Fang [Gilliam] is just Cardinal Fang]
Ximinez: NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise…surprise and fear…fear and surprise…. Our two weapons are fear and surprise…and ruthless efficiency…. Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency…and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope…. Our *four*...no… *Amongst* our weapons…. Amongst our weaponry…are such elements as fear, surprise…. I’ll come in again.
[The Inquisition exits] - Cite
Fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency and a fanatical devotion to the Pope. It’s like EE’s mission statement, just with less Pope.

Huh. I could’ve sworn I heard it as “no one .” Oh, well.

In “The Final Rip Off” album they do say “No One” but in the performance in the actual show, it’s “Nobody.”
I can vouch for the album saying “No one”, I just re-listened to it. But I can’t verify the show because I don’t own the DVD set. (At least, not yet… be still my precious, the time will come.)
