Techincal support at my host, dreamhost, had said that they don’t have PHP error reporting turned on and that its something they don’t offer their customers.
What is the next step? I’ve already reinstalled EE1.4. I’ve tried my very old but trusty set of web templates. Nothing seems to work.
Wait a minute, this only happened when I tried to manually update/import the current MySQL database with EE weblog posts from another MySQL database and older EE. I began to recieve errors as I tried to import them and then aborted the process. Could that be it? That would be the only out of the ordinary thing I did from Jan 2 to when I discovered this problem on Jan 3/4.
