Can’t wait for new version. Hope guys you adressed encoding problems in small areas for UTF customers like me. Congratulations for your great product and your disposal for all users from newbies to superpros.

So, the new version is out of beta now. Congrats ... the changelog looks really impressive - much to play with during holidays!
There’s a free core version as well - personally I hope this will not effect the support forums too much ... but of course, every new user is warmly welcome.

Thanks to the pMachine Inc. team, the supporters here in the forums and - of course - the beta testers. Enjoy X-mas ... you really deserve it. And all the best for 2006! (Any ETA for the e-commerce module? Sorry, just joking ... couldn’t resist wink )

Looking forward to playing with all the new features.
-Markus

Markus, we know by now that Core users are not entitled to support, even on the forums, so I don’t think this will affect the forums much.

Hi Guys,

Enjoying the discovery of new version 1.4 !!! This thing’s huge and should be advertised… on TV ! Does somebody know when the new French language pack will be available in order to have all links viewable in the CP (extension, mailinglist template) ?  You might think I’m lazy enough note to do it myself but I have my focus on CSS2, Actionscript and my websites !

Well, somebody actually’s got to do it, I’m afraid; you know the languapge packs are user-provided. I’am looking forwawrd for the German pack myself. Will look into this some more over the weekend, if it’s not too much I might tackle this myself.

Hi all,

I am the last french translator of ExpressionEngine and forum module. I submit the translation for EE 1.4 and forum module 1.2 to Rick today, I’m waiting his answer.

Thanks for your replies Ingmar and José. I ‘ve appreciated your great job José for the previous translation since this work takes some time and the French spelling was great. I’ll wait for the new pack !!!

The new pack is now available. wink It seems that the download page shows forum version 1.4 but it’s an error, it is the version 1.2.

But I have a question for the pMachine Staff : is it better to translate with decimal character entities or “text” character entities ?

Thanks anyway MelodramaBabs, French and Croatian 1.4 language packs have been delivered with great efficiency by using Santa’s secret recipes: thanks to EE I’ll bet on France and Croatia in the next World cup of soccer but Ingmar’s national team might tackle my predictions. Nice to share a great product with a neighbour....

Yeah, I wasn’t aware of there being a “maintainer” of language packs… For German it’s Werner, and he did a great job last time, so I’m looking forward to this version’s pack.
