I’ve installed the ext/lang files and they work from the individual “Edit Entry” pages although the link from the Edit Page list gives me the same URL for every entry: http://www.fiercepoet.com/ee-backend/44/.  That shows up as the “View Entry” link for every item.

Any ideas??

Thanks

You need to go to Admin > Weblog Administration >  Weblog Management > Edit Preferences > Path Settings and then fill in the Comment Page URL field for each weblog. For example, for your main weblog, use http://www.fiercepoet.com/index.php/weblog/comments/.

That’s already done.  Exactly as you said.  All the path settings are filled in.

Next thought???

Maybe I don’t understand what you guys are trying to achieve. But if you want a link from the CP to your site, there is already one in the CP. In the templates tab you can just click on the view link for the main index template. That’s how I get to it.

This extension brings you to the permalink page for that entry, rather than your site’s homepage.  That is the difference and the extension accomplishes it wonderfully.

Ok I see what your doing now. I’ll brush up on permalinks in the manual to learn more about them. Thanks Lisa

after upgrading to EE 1.4.2 I get an extensive error list when clicking on the edit page in the control panel. I’ve attached a txt file with all the errors present as there are too many to include in the post (1599 lines worth).

The Linguist ... I just upgraded to 1.4.2, and didn’t run into that problem. It looks like you’re using an older version of the extension which indeed doesn’t work - the latest as of right now is 1.0.3.

I’ve updated this extension. It doesn’t use the code from cp.publish.php any more. Please download it again...

Yes!

Thank you, didn’t know there was an extension.

I’ve converted that first hack into an extension. It links to the Comment Page URL specified in the weblog preferences for each weblog.
