Beautiful. I’ve always wondered why you weren’t taking full advantage of EE. The old site never really showed off the power of the software. I love the polish and little javascript “fast reply” box I’m using now. The whole thing feels more professional too, better copywriting, great navigation, etc. My only criticism would be the compression on your lead image for the home page. There are distracting artifacts around all the non-HTML text.
...and a fast reply as well. Congrats on the new look. Very professional, very sweet to look at. Forums: although I never seem to be able to start them up properly and get people to post stuff on’em, I will definitely think about buying license…
Oh my! I love the teasers you’ve thrown at us ... avatars, signatures, private messages and goodness knows what else lurking in the depths!
The forum module looks great. Very full-featured! I’d be interested, like others, in seeing how it’s priced. Not sure I’d have a use for it yet, but it might come in handy.
And of course, the site looks absolutely fantastic! You guys never fail to impress
Great way to start a week: A peek at what the new forums module is like. Now ... you know ... you’re just making me want to part with my money.
Looks wonderful, and I’m anxiously waiting on the release. Have a project in the planning stages which I think can make good use of a forum module like this.
Rick, Paul… what can I say but “job well done”! The site looks sooooo much better than it did before. Much cleaner and more professional. The forums look amazing and support all those features everyone’s been wanting. Plus, this is an excellent way to advertise the new forum module.
All in all, you guys are doing an excellent job. Except for when Paul whines about not having enough bon bons. That just gets old.
[edit] Edit is a great feature. What I would like to see is a “my recent posts” in the control panel. (yeah, I know, give them something & they always want more...)
& a question: what’s the thought behind having an avatar and a photo?
Wow, the new site is very nice. I love the clearness the site portrays, which is why I fell in love with pMachine a few years back. Now it seems to be given a new look that fits the company image for me. And finally a Forum we can look forward to.
Big round of applause to the developers, you guys still got it!
