This is a simple CMS configuration with an events calendar.

We’re using the moblog mod. to allow visitors to submit events by email. This way the email is loaded directly into a weblog with a status of pending. No copy and paste required.

Al our client has to do to approve an event is change the status from pending to open, and set the publication date to the date of the event.

Simple and easy to maintain.
