The development company I work for purchased a copy of Expression Engine for a project. But when we’re done we want to transfer everything over to the client. Is this possible? We don’t just want to hand them over the license key if its not gonna be on the up and up. Thanks!

Simply have the client register and tell you their username.  Then email sales the license number to transfer, and the username that should receive it.

You’ll receive a “developer credit” so that you can continue accumulating toward the volume discount.

Transfer requests are usually handled within 2 business days.
