Please add a submit button to the top of the edit page, to save editors from scrolling down.

Please also add back “quick save” button to the to “Edit Entry” page.

Currently, if you want to save your work during editing
a) scroll to the bottom of the Edit Entry page and click submit
b) the page then jumps to the “View Entry” screen, and you have to scroll down to the bottom of this page and click “edit this entry”
c) then back in the Edit Entry page, you have to scroll down to the place you were

It would be great if you just pressed “quick save” or “quick submit” and the cursor stayed where it was.

Just tried it - turned on versioning with 10 revisions as default - but “save revision” button disappeared after clicking it for first time - and it happens for each entry?

If I’m reading this post correctly then there are a couple of ways around this.

1 - Install Publish Page Improvements extension and get rid of all buttons except for the Save button. Now if you have your caret in a normal text field or even on a drop-down list you can just press enter and as there is only the one button at the top the page will save. May not be totally intuitive for standard users / clients though but does work.

2 - Install Blis Publish Button which moves the Publish button down the edit page allowing you to easily save at any point you wish.

If I’m reading the post incorrectly then I apologise for stepping in but hopefully that does help a little bit.
