I gave a couple of header tags within an entry class names and saved, but they are not updating on the site. They are updating in the preview, but not within the site. Any ideas?

I have no idea what that means. Can you elaborate? What are you trying to do, where? Can you show us some code?

The problem is that when I update an entry, through the back end, it does not reflect the update when viewing the template that loads that entry in on the front end. In the entry I simply changed

<h4>Cost-efficiency</h4>
to
<h4 class="cost-efficiency">Cost-efficiency</h4>

Are you using caching? All the template does, really, is displaying the entry. If you change the entry, it should show on the site as well.

I went into the admin and cleared all of the caches, but still no luck. The DB contains the correct data, but for some reason the site doesn’t show it. Tried it in FF and Safari.

Still some caching. Perhaps some server side caching, or your browser cache? Give it a few hours, and try again, if it changed by then it was indeed a caching issue.

The issue was my own stupidity (as you probably already guessed). I had created the template when the blog was using the default fields. I then created a new custom field group, but forgot to update the tags in the template. It was pulling the entry as it had been just before I applied the new custom field group to it. Once I updated the the tags, the new data was pulled in. Strange though, how it kept pulling the old info, huh?
