DOes anyone know how to insert browser and operating system details into a EE contact form textarea field?

I think this would be useful for tech support emails, so then you don’t have to ask the user what browser they are using etc.

You might be able to do what you need using perhaps the Browser Sniff Plugin and placing the output into a hidden field using the Freeform module perhaps?

That or some PHP to get the values you are after and spit them out into the required field.
