Kew College approached us looking for a design and development agency to partner with ‘The Noble Union’ to deliver a complete overhaul of their online presence.

We installed, configured and deployed ExpressionEngine allowing us to provide parents, pupils and staff with varying levels of access to content using the Users Module.

Event, term and sports calendars allow parents and pupils to keep in touch with what’s going on.

Parents can register (using the freeform module) for SMS alerts, to receive a prospectus and to gain access to a gallery of photos from school events. The Gallery is built using the standard Gallery module with a few custom pages and a very useful plugin Gallery Category Parent built by our very own (Nine Four) Nathan Pitman.

Pupils can communicate and engage in meaningful discussion with their teachers via the staff blog.

Take a look at the Kew College Website…

Cool site. I didn’t know Pages had a menu plugin until now. Any reason you opted for Pages and that plugin over something like Structure?

Thanks you smile

Re pages menu - No real reason it just what we have used in the past. I’ll have to look at structure.

A very fun site!

One thing, when you print the full calendar, it shows expired dates.

If they are then -

start_on="{current_time format='%Y-%m-%d %H:%i'}" show_future_entries="yes"

would be a good solution.

Apologies if they’re not!

Nice looking site. I was poking around and reading some of the items and I noticed a spelling error in the 4th bullet of the Our Curriculum -> English.

To enable children to **speck** clearly, fluently and confidently and listen attentively and respond appropriately.
