Problem with Members database/paths

I’ve got almost everything configured, but I seem to be having a problem with the Members database.  I think it’s some sort of path error, but I’ve tried very variation I can think of and it just doesn’t work.  Whenever you try to register a new member or log out you get something like this as your path:

http://www.fontcraft.com/csa/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/members/messages.php

Any idea what’s causing that and what setting I need to change to make it work right?

Are you using EE or pMachine?  From the URL (the “members.php” at the end) it looks like a pMachine URL.  If it is, indeed, a pM URL then this would be better posted in one of the pMachine forums instead of an ExpressionEngine one.

It would also probably help if you could tell us what you currently have set for your paths.

I’m using pMacnine.  Whenever I try to post in the pMachine forum it takes me here.  Not sure why.

The path I currently have set for members is /members - which as far as I can tell is correct.  It lets me access the member listings and such.

In General Preferences under “Absolute path to ‘members’ directory” try setting it to http://www.fontcraft.com/csa/members/

Thanks.  That worked.  I swear I tried it before just like that with no luck.  Does that mean I should change all the absolute paths to full URLs like that?  The others seem to work.

Pretty much all the “path” settings under General Preferences are full URLs in my setup.  The only one that isn’t is the “Path to hit counter images” preference.

So, I’d suggest changing them all to the full URL.  (That’s what it suggests if you click the [ i ] link next to the preference, BTW.)
