Thanks for the reply. To bad. It’s a great extension! I am not sure what you mean with the other browser?

If you’re logged into the CP from Safari, you could view your XML in Firefox, sans editor buttons.

upgraded to 1.0.2 and when I try to save my settings I get the same error.

I’ve tried it on a fresh install with no other extensions as well as a productin site.

I had same problem, but installed lg addon updater and problem now resolved.

I’m having exactly the same issue as Steven Grant (below). Do you know of a way round this? Maybe a contitional to ignore the {weblog:entry} tab if it’s within <title></title>?

Have just installed this extension and it works, however I’ve got a major glitch.

I use the weblog entry tag to display entry title in my URL and that’s where the edit button is appearing, not in the body.

Any ideas?

I’m on 1.6.7. and I enabled this and entered the control panel url and no editor buttons next to my weblog entries, and nothing in the source code.  I’m using the core version.

I was having a similar issue - Editor 1.02 and EE 1.6.7 and the editor icon wasn’t showing up at all (on the page or in the source code).

I know I was testing this extension earlier on in the piece with the site I’m working on, but it was working fine then.

Anyway, I had to manually delete the editor entries in the extension table in MYSQL. After that I re-enabled the extension and re-entered my settings and then the icons were displaying fine.

Maybe there is an issue during upgrading or disabling and re-enabling?

Either way try that if you are still having problems.

I’m having a similar problem as Steven Grant, part of the source code for the Editor button is appearing inside my <title>{title}</title> output—it took me forever to figure out that this is what was causing my page to break.

Does anyone have any solutions to this? I’ve had to turn off this extension for now.

I don’t think so. It would be great if you could you just set it in the exp:weblog:entries tag, something like: editor=“on”

I’ve installed the extension, but it outputs in the Title-tag of my pages? Using 1.6.8 and have the issue confirmed via @seven24 on Twitter.

Feature-request? Would be super if I could rather include this where I wanted in the templates!

“Editor” is dead, by anyone is free to fork it on GitHub. Would love to do it, but I don’t have the time atm.
