awesome, I’ve been dreaming of this approach for ages…
I can’t seem to get it working properly on MSM though - do I need to change some paths somewhere? (It works fine if I access the site via its parent (primary) domain and then drill down through the folders instead of accessing it directly from the secondary top-level domain… any idea?

Settings are site-specific, so make sure that you’ve set the CP URL in both of your MSM sites, with the full domain included.
hm, that’s a bit tricky. The secondary domain is a sub-folder of the primary domain, so the control panel url is the same as it is for the primary domain. Maybe I’m missing something obvious or configured MSM wrong?
I’ve done that now but it’s still not working on www.secondarydomain.com/new/, only on www.primarydomain.com/secondarydomain/new/, with the CP url for both set as www.primarydomain.com/system/index.php (both in the extension’s settings and the General Configuration EE settings).
Wonder if you can help…. I’ve installed this and thought it was going to work great first time but unfortunately when I click the edit icon a new window opens, displaying the following:
feature request: options to select which weblogs can use editor. the little edit button shows up on some of my templates, however on some it doesn’t. I would definitely use this extension though.
for example I have a “locations” page that outputs some long/tat into a google maps api call via an entries tag, and it botches the map so that it doesn’t render properly.
Just wondering if anyone out there had any clues about this Disallowed Key Characters issue? I’ve seen this error mentioned on other threads on the forums but not sure how the things discussed relate to this issue
I’m using version 1.6.3 and build 20080421 if that helps.
When I add the url to the system index page I get the following error:
Notice: Undefined index: check_for_extension_updates in /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php on line 303
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php:303) in /path/to/system/core/core.functions.php on line 296
I’ve just come across this extension. Looks like there’s a compatibility issue with version 1.6.7. I have it working perfectly on 1.6.6 but in 1.6.7 it doesn’t load the edit icon, nor is there any trace of this icon in the page’s markup. Hopefully Brandon will come out with a new release soon to address this problem.

Hi, is there a way to disable this extension for certain weblogs. I am feeding a .xml with a weblog and it also want’s to add those buttons giving me errors.
