I followed the directions and upgraded. The version is now 1.1 . I went into Control Panel Home ›  Admin ›  Weblog Management ›  Edit Weblog.  When ever I try to save any settings in there I get the following error

MySQL ERROR:

Error Number: 1054

Description: Unknown column ‘exp_templates.save_template_file’ in ‘field list’

Query: SELECT exp_templates.template_name, exp_templates.template_id, exp_templates.template_data, exp_templates.template_type, exp_templates.save_template_file, exp_templates.cache, exp_templates.refresh, exp_templates.no_auth_bounce, exp_templates.allow_php, exp_templates.php_parse_location, exp_templates.hits FROM exp_template_groups, exp_templates WHERE exp_template_groups.group_id = exp_templates.group_id AND exp_templates.template_name = ‘index’ AND exp_template_groups.is_site_default = ‘y’

Ack!  What did I do?  I ran update like it said then I deleted it.  So…some software thing has gotten changed and it now thinks there should be, but the database never got altered, right? How can I fix that?

Ahh. Now I see I’ve got two errors

the error in the above page is when I try to view my index page.

I decided to try and see if things would get better if I reinstalled the updated files.

Glad you got it working, Luka.  It sounds as if the actual update script may not have been run correctly the first time.
