I am in the middle of doing the update, but I am not clear on which files to replace. The update folder I downloaded contains all of the EE files and directories, but the update instructions only say to replace files inside the system folder. Is that right - I only replace the files INSIDE the system folder?

The instructions do mention one file not in the system folder and that is: images/cp_images
however, I can’t find that file.

Confused…....

images/cp_images is a new folder.

The rest is right, only stuff inside the system folder.  The documentation on the upgrade says specifically which files not to overwrite, the rest you do. =)

Hope that helps!

Thanks for clearing that up.

I did everything, but in Step 4 I pointed my browser to system/update.php and got this:

No, it sounds like your files didn’t get updated after all.  You may need to delete them then re-upload them.  Get a backup first though.

First name Lisa, middle name Jill - Lisa was always taken so I started using LisaJill / Lisa-Jill, so here I am.

*flourishes grandly* - I’m sure that noone wanted to know that much, so I’ll just hide. wink
