Hello there,

I have tried to install EE on my ISPs severs but have come up against an encrypted file problem. I have followed the install instructions exactly and even asked my ISP to upgrade the Zend optimizer. They refused.

Is there any other way to get the software to work? Does the real version of EE need this updated copy of Zend Opt.

I have tried a copy of EE on a server at home and will but it is I can get it to work on my ISP.

The “Zend Trial” version of EE requires that Zend Optimizer 2.5 or higher be installed on your server.  Previous versions of the Optimizer will not work with the Trial.  The full, purchased version of EE is not encrypted and thus does not require the Zend Optimizer at all.

If your Host will not upgrade to v2.5 of the Optimizer then you could always try the 30-day Hosted Trial version of EE.
